Watch ASCII Star Wars in Windows XP (and later)

Almost everyone heard for the film “Star Wars”. Some of us have even watched it. If you haven’t watched it yet, you can do it directly from your Windows machine. Yes, that’s right – you can. If you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8 you will need to enable telnet service if you haven’t already. You may also have to configure your antivirus software to not block the telnet port 23.

Step 1. Press Win + R.

Step 2. Enter telnet.exe and press Enter.

Step 3. Type in o and press Enter.

Step 4. Type in towel.blinkenlights.nl and press Enter.

2) Easy way

Step 1. Press Win + R.

Step 2. Type in telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl and press Enter.

Step 3. A new windows will come up. If your antivirus asks you to confirm Internet access, allow it.
